- Sandy Beaches
When searching for Maui vacation rentals, it is crucial to stay near the beach. All of our condos are at beachfront resorts on the south shore of Maui. Kana’i A Nalu is located on Sugar Beach, while Luana Kai fronts the Waipuilani Beach Park. Sugar Beach is the longest beach in Maui at over 5 miles long, and great for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and building sand castles. We like to take really long walks on Sugar Beach with our feet just skimming through the water. Waipuilani Beach is protected by a reef that is a few hundred yards offshore. You can literally walk out in waist-high water until you get to the reef shelf. The waters in front of Luana Kai are great for snorkeling as we’ve seen turtles every time we’ve been out playing in these waters.
- Great Central Location
While Maui is not the largest of islands, it can take some time to drive around it. That’s why the great central location of our condos make it great for quickly getting to popular destinations on the island. Within 15-20 minutes, you can be at the towns of Wailea/Makena, Lahaina, Paia, the Maui airport and other attractions like the Maui Aquarium and the Tropical Plantation. Grocery stores, restaurants and shopping are also close by.
- Amenity-Rich Resorts
A stay in a Knowles Maui condo is great for those that just want to lounge around the resort. Luana Kai has a heated pool, hot tub, two saunas, multiple tennis and pickleball courts, a shuffleboard court, 5-hole putting green, and a full-kitchen cabana with 5 grill stations. The boutique beachfront resort of Kana’i A Nalu has a heated pool and a brand new grill area. Sometimes it’s nice to have a lazy day at the resort.

Most condos in Maui have a tired and dated look to them. It is tough to find nice furniture on the island and most settle for bamboo or rattan furniture. Knowles Maui condos have beautiful interiors because Maisie Knowles, who is a professional interior designer, has spent countless hours updating the condos with new paint colors, wallpaper, furniture (usually shipped from the mainland), home decor items and appliances. We believe that people shouldn’t go to Maui to stay in a place that is not as nice as their home, and most end up doing just that.
