A number of Knowles Maui guests have asked us about getting groceries delivered to their condo before they arrive. We get it, smart travelers would rather be sunbathing at the beach, exploring the Road to Hana or biking down Haleakala. So I’m happy to write about an efficient and accurate grocery delivery service that our guests have used.

Bryan and Lise Marie Preast started Maui Market Delivery in 2016 as a grocery delivery service for tourists who have had long travel days, children, or just want to save time on tracking down more specific groceries on the island. By shopping in Kahului and Wailuku rather than near the resorts, Bryan and Lise have full access to the largest selection of products on Maui.

Maui Market Delivery focuses on selecting quality products and are experienced shopping for more selective guests with dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, organic, and kosher.

Bryan told me that they are very serious about providing quality products to their guests. He said that they check every expiration label, every piece of fruit for freshness, every specific item request the guest selects, and do whatever they possibly can to get the exact item requested, even shopping at multiple stores if needed.

Currently, Maui Market Delivery charges a $45 flat-rate fee for orders under $150 and 30% of the store’s receipt for all orders over $150, with no markup of prices. Gift deliveries and miscellaneous item requests are common services that they provide as well. I think that their fees are very reasonable considering the time and hassle involved with grocery shopping on Maui.

In 2018 Bryan and Lise will make over 1,500 grocery deliveries for tourists at resorts and private homes across Maui.
